I have run a group supervision program for students for a number of years and can also deliver this in the classroom particularly on recall or preparation for placement days.

The training will constantly link theory and practice through constant use of relevant practice examples. I also take students at all levels on an individual basis.

I am also available to provide second opinions on placements if needed.

I carry out all student off-site practice assessor work according to local rates.

Students and newly qualified social workers

I provide specific training across all aspects of safeguarding. This can be to statutory or voluntary sector staff.

Training can be provided by classroom delivery and/ or workshop format. I also specialise in small groups and can provide training/mentoring to individuals if this is required. Training is practice and skills based and always looks to make the links to relevant theory.

Rates are negotiable depending on your requirements.

Training and Mentoring

I provide independent chairing for all aspects of single and multi-agency meetings. For example; Secure Reviews, Child Protection Reviews, Critical Case Reviews and Reflective Supervisions.

I am Ombudsman trained as a Stage 2 Complaints Investigator and can provide Independent Person work also as well as attending Tribunal’s.

Rates: I work to a common standard rate for this type of work, which can be discussed depending on your needs.

I also provide Independent Social Work and Advocacy over an agreed period in a practice setting.

I also provide Independent Social Work Assessments for Court and other settings depending on your needs.
